Upcoming Conference: Seattle 2024

Posted on Jul 27 - Aug 3, 2024

American and Japanese Delegates (current participants) who will attend the Seattle 2024 conference (July 27 - August 3, 2024) as their first conference must be between the ages of 28 and 42 on the first day of the conference (July 27, 2024). Delegates who start the Program in 2024 will return for their second year at the 2025 Japan Conference, currently scheduled to be held over Sunday, July 27 - Sunday, August 3, 2025 (dates subject to change; location in Japan TBA). Delegates who must defer their second year in 2025 will be given due consideration for participation in a future (i.e. 2027 or later) Japan conference, space permitting.

Newly selected Delegates to the Seattle 2024 conference will join second year Delegates who have successfully participated in a Japan conference. Over the course of the week the combined group of approximately 40 Delegates will engage in substantive discussions as well as recreational and social activities designed to strengthen relationships within the cohort and cultivate a greater understanding of the culture, society, and economy of our two countries, sparking ideas for how members can collaborate together to address current issues and strengthen endeavors across a variety of fields poised to have impact on our shared future.

Please note that the 2024-2025 application cycle closed on January 8, 2024. The next cycle for potential candidates to the 2025-2026 conferences will commence in early fall, 2024.
